2–4 p.m. Navigating College Admissions
Led by Kevin Ramos-Glew GR’08, director of enrollment planning, the Navigating College Admissions program introduces participants to the selective admissions process. Workshop participants will review aspects of sample college applications, engage in a discussion about the applications, and learn firsthand about the important factors that shape a student’s candidacy. Registration is required. Please contact the Admissions Ambassador Program with questions.

Tours will be in 20-minute intervals, and sign-ups start at 2:00 p.m. in person at the Baker Level 1 Stacks Entrance. Spots fill quickly. Each participant must be able to navigate many steep steps and a ladder independently. Individuals with issues related to height or tight spaces are discouraged from participating.

With a Black woman as the Democratic Presidential candidate, gender and race are once again at the forefront of political debate. Join us for a talk with Anna Mahoney, Executive Director of the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences at Dartmouth. She will explore how women have participated in U.S. politics in the past and what this tells us about the women participating today. Do gender and race matter in elections and policymaking? How are gender and race playing a role in this year's election? What can we expect from women voters this fall?
