Ross Virginia, director of the Institute of Arctic Studies and Myers Family Professor of Environmental Science, will lead a conversation about on Dartmouth’s research in the Arctic, the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society, and President Hanlon’s vision for the future of Dartmouth studies in the polar regions. He will be joined by Trustee Emerita Sherri Carroll Oberg ’82, Tu’86, who saw the College’s polar research in action on a recent Dartmouth Alumni Travel trip to the Arctic, and by Lauren Culler A&S’13, lecturer in environmental studies and coordinator of science outreach at the Institute for Arctic Studies.
