The United States endures the COVID-19 pandemic in a climate of uncertainty, when there is almost too much data to process and verified facts are often overcome by disinformation.

The National Conference on Citizenship, a nonprofit founded in 1946 and chartered by Congress in 1953, seeks to address this uncertainty with the creation of Pandemic to Prosperity, a new monthly report providing trusted, highly curated, and vetted data to ensure that recovery efforts in the months and years ahead lead to a more just and equitable American society.

Please join leaders from the National Conference on Citizenship—including lead data analyst Emily Laackman T’20—as they discuss Pandemic to Prosperity, and how surges in civic involvement inspired by the COVID crisis may be harnessed to shape a future of more responsive and accountable governments, stronger civic institutions, and opportunity for all Americans to be gainfully employed, healthy, and connected.

The National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC) is dedicated to strengthening civic life in America. We pursue our mission through a nationwide network of partners involved in a cutting-edge civic health initiative, our cross-sector conferences and engagement with a broad spectrum of individuals and organizations interested in utilizing civic engagement principles and practices to enhance their work. Connecting people for the purpose of strengthening civic life is our goal. At the core of our joint efforts is the belief that every person has the ability to help their community and country thrive.
