About Us

TravelRobertaThumbB

Roberta Moore is the director of Alumni Continuing Education and Travel at Dartmouth College, where her responsibilities include dynamic educational outreach to the Dartmouth constituency. Her professional career spans over 20 years in higher education, beginning with life stage programming for residential undergraduate students. It was as a continuing education professional that she discovered she had a talent for engaging public programming and international travel experiences. At Penn State University she was responsible for youth leadership, academic and sport camps, Elderhostel, summer study abroad, campus events, certification courses, alumni engagement, and professional conferences. In 2001 she joined Alumni Relations at Dartmouth, where she has led a comprehensive program renewal including campus-based events, regional outreach, online learning, and a substantial expansion of the travel program. Her academic background includes a BA in visual arts and an MFA in photography. She is a published photographer, with recent work in Smart Money and Executive Travel. Roberta serves on the board of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen and the ETC Executive Advisory Council representing the interests of the ETC Alumni Travel professionals.

Dartmouth Alumni Travel is proud to offer educationally valuable  trips to alumni and friends through a number of partnerships. Any revenue beyond expenses that may be generated from our travel program is used exclusively to support the programs of Dartmouth Alumni Travel and Alumni Continuing Education.

Why Travel with Us?
Adventure: We often go to remote destinations or those only recently opened to Western travelers.

Camaraderie: Travel with old Dartmouth friends and make new friends with people who share your love for learning adventures.

Convenience:  All you do is book your flight. Our trip operators take all the other logistics off your hands—tickets, reservations, transportation, and more. Ahh, now this is a vacation!

Value: You save, on average, 20–30 percent of what you'd pay for the trip components separately.
