'71 Panel: Dartmouth and the Spirit of Adventure

The Class of 1971 is please to sponsor this panel discussion on "Dartmouth and the Spirit of Adventure" for the entire community and especially for its connected Class of 2021. The panel will explore how Dartmouth has served as "basecamp to the world" for current students and alumni. Panelist will include students John Brady 19, President of DOC, Billy Braasch GR 19, who recently climbed Mount Xanadu, Matt Moniz '20, who recently climbed Mount Everest, Grace Scott '22, champion of climbing and bouldering, and alumnus Pete Webster '71, former President of the Ledyard Canoe Club. The panel will also feature the first public screening of an extended trailer of "The Final Climb," a documentary film that weaves together the stories of the remarkable adventures of Andy Harvard '71 and the public health crisis of Alzheimer's Disease. Michael Maynard '71, Dartmouth Professor William Phillips '71, and Kathy Harvard will discuss The Final Climb Project ( www.thefinalclimb.org ). Please join us for this lively and important event.
